Camillus
Elks No. 2367 continually shows their dedication to helping the veterans in our
community.
They funded
10 Vets and staff personnel from the V. A. Hospital
to a Syracuse Chiefs baseball game. They
were given Hot Dogs, French Fries and other refreshments and enjoyed a bright
sunny afternoon.
They served
a Lasagna and meatball dinner to approximately 20 patients and staff at the
Spinal Care Center at the V.A. Hospital.
Members of
the lodge prepared and donated a large number of knitted lap robes along with
puzzles to patients of the hospital.
The lodge
has supported the Homeless Veterans Program sponsored by St. Joseph’s Church in
Camillus. Four plastic grocery bags of
assorted toiletries were donated. There
is a donation box in lounge is always available for donations.
