Congratulations

Congratulations to All ~
Dan and I had the pleasure of installing Beth Konowich SVP, and Sgt-At-Arms Ken Dack from the Central District and Mike Giehl SVP, and Fritz Allen State Trustee from the Ontario District . Please extend a congratulations to these well deserving Elks. We look forward to working with them and know they will do a great job in continuing to make our districts shinning stars within the N.Y. State Elks Association. We are very proud of them and we know you are also. Please also say thanks to our outgoing SVP's Bob and Chuck and Sgt-At-Arms Lee and State Trustee Bill, you all did a great job!
Thanks in advance for all your support and be safe. All the Best.
Bill/Dan
As time marches on, we take a moment to acknowledge and show appreciation for the time and effort put forth by retired 2019-2020 New York State Elks Association Vice President Bob Culican. Bob fulfilled his responsibilities with dedication and success, and for this; the Elks of our Ontario District owe him a debt of gratitude. Thank you Bob. We know your commitment to Elkdom will continue.
This is also a time when we warmly welcome Mike Giehl as he begins his tenure as our 2020-2021 New York State Elks Association Vice President. Mike has demonstrated his leadership skills both within Syracuse Lodge #31 and our district. Let's make sure we provide him with the support he needs to have a great year as our SVP. His success will be our success.
Congratulations to both of you.
Dan Capella/Bill Reedy Jr.

Oswego Elks 271 Flags

Members of Oswego Elks Lodge #271 recently took part in the placing of flags on the graves of veterans at St. Paul's Cemetery. The Elks have placed flags in this cemetery for the past few years on the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and not being able to gather in groups exceeding ten people, the group was smaller than in the past and we were not able to have the assistance of the local Girl Scouts.
This year's volunteers were ER Tom Milam, PDDGER Dave Longley, PDDGER Jan Pashley, PER Jim Burnell and good member Debbie Burnell, good member Bill Ravas, good member Sandy Sweich and Jim Dillabaugh, Oswego Elks Lodge Veteran's Committee co-chair.

Liverpool Lodge Fish Dinner

A huge thank you to our members and the public who supported us at our Friday Fish Fry. This group of dedicated Elks served 129 dinners. They sold out of fish. To Go dinners are a start at returning to normal. Hopefully our Burger and Beverage (Tuesdays starting 6-2) and our Chicken BBQ ( 6-7 and 6-21) will be as successful. Again a huge thank you to all who are supporting us. — Liverpool Elks Lodge
