BPOE No. 2348 (Liverpool, NY) Halloween party (2015-11-LIV-3)
Liverpool Elks Lodge No. 2348 recently hosted a Halloween party for the children. A great time was had by all. There were games, crafts, snacks and a parade. Each child received a goody bag at the conclusion of the party.
Ontario District 6300 (NY) Annual Veteran Day Parade (2015-10-?-3)
Members from the Ontario District (6300) joined together to participate in the Annual Veteran Day Parade at the NYS Fairgrounds. Thanks to all who took time out of their busy lives to honor those who gave so much to our country.

BPOE No. 271 (Oswego, NY) Supporting Friends of Fort Ontario (2015-10-OSW-2)
Oswego Elks Lodge No. 271 recently donated $500.00 to the Friends of Fort Ontario to
help keep Fort Ontario going. They are
working diligently to have the Fort recognized as a National Historic
place.
The Friends of Fort
Ontario is a not-for-profit educational organization with tax exempt status
under Section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code. The Organization was
formed in 1989 to encourage community participation in the programs, assist in
the preservation and enhancement of the collection of artifacts and documents,
develop and conduct educational programs, services and activities which will
broaden the experience of a visitor, sponsor fundraising events which will lead
to improvements and engage in other activities which are in harmony with the
operation of the Fort Ontario State historic Site.
They continue to
operate as an all volunteer organization. This has been accomplished and
maintained by an effective collaboration facilitated through the Memorandum of
Understanding that the Friends of Fort Ontario and the New York State Office of
Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation.

NYS Elk Soccer Shoot, Boonville, NY (2015-10-CAM-1)
NYS Elk Soccer Shoot held Oct. 18th in Boonville
I would like to thank the Ontario District PDD Association for placing an ad in the Area I Soccer Shoot Program. This will show the Soccer families that Elks Believe that our Children can Achieve!!!

Ontario District's and Camillus representative to the NYS Soccer Competition was Ashlyn Slate, who placed First in the U14 Girls group and scored 48 on the Grid Goal which was the highest score of the day!! Ashlyn will be going forth to the Area I Contest being held in Windsor, Connecticut November 6-8th. I am looking forward to this Elk Soccer Event to encourage and chaperon Ashlyn and the other Seven NYS champs going forward.

BPOE Lodge No. 2367 (Camillus, NY) Boy Scout Troop No. 60 (2015-10-CAM-2)
Camillus Elks No. 2367 recently presented Boy Scout Troop No. 60 from Warners,
NY with a check in the amount of $600.00.
The Troop plans on using this money to replenish worn out camping gear. Throughout the years this troop has assisted
Camillus Elks in many ways. They have
helped the lodge during monthly breakfasts as well as helping in the fall and
spring with brush and outdoor property clean up. They have also assisted with other Elk events
including Elk’s Memorial Sunday as well as Flag Day.
