Camillus Elks Lodge No. 2367 members Jay
Mason and Bob McIntyre visited the Gregory J. Harris Military Courtesy Room at
Syracuse Hancock Airport where they delivered a large supply of goods and
goodies to be given to out those Active Duty US Military personnel who
regularly visit the courtesy room for rest and relaxation between travel
assignments. While at the courtesy room, Jay and Bob visited staff
members and a few soldiers awaiting for their next travel destination. The
soldiers seemed so young, well-mannered and very physically fit. These
soldiers joined the staff members in gratefully acknowledging the Lodge gift.
Funds to pay for the delivered goods came
from an Elks National Foundation Gratitude Grant previously received by
the Camillus Lodge.
The below photo shows the goods delivered
to the Courtesy Room.
From left to right it's Terry Baum of Oswego
who is a staff member of the Courtesy Room, then Bob McIntyre and Jay Mason.
