BPOE 6300 (NY) Annual Clam Bake 2016_09

The District Deputy Association of the Ontario District No. 6300 held its annual clam bake at Auburn Lodge No. 474.  They had a beautiful weather and a chance to renew old friendships and make new ones.  Clams, of course took center stage, but chicken, Hamburgers, Hot Dogs and sausage along with salads and fruit were served.  Several raffles were held.  Approximately $1400 was raised.  These funds assist the District Deputy Association in the all the projects the fund as well as the charitable work they participate in.

BPOE Ontario District 6300 (NY) Ontario District Soccer Shoot 2016_09

Ontario District Soccer Shoot was hosted by Camillus Lodge No. 2367.  Good luck to the winners who will compete in the regional competition October 2^nd.

Ontario District No. 6300 (NY) District Deputy Association Annual Golf Outing 2016_09

The District Deputy Association of the Ontario District No. 6300 held its annual golf outing.  They had a beautiful weather and a chance to renew old friendships and make new ones. The day started with the pledge of allegiance as well as the national anthem lead by Jim Oldenburg.  After a successful round of golf they shared a steak dinner.  Approximately $2600 was raised.  These funds assist the District Deputy Association in the all the projects the fund as well as the charitable work they participate in.

BPOE 2348 (Liverpool, NY) Veterans Cookout 2016_09

Lodge 2348 recently hosted our local veterans from the Syracuse VA and Veterans Outreach Center for an outdoor cookout.  Over 25 vets were served Hamburg's, Hot dogs and Sausage sandwiches with all the fixings!  After the main course they made room for cake, brownies and ice cream.

BPOE 2348 (Liverpool, NY) 28th Annual Music Fest 2016_09

More than 600 people attended Liverpool Elks Lodge No, 2348 28th Annual Music Fest to benefit Access CNY.  Approximately $6000 was raised at this event. 

Four bands played music throughout the course of the day. Plenty of food was available as well as raffles and games.  Access CNY had one of there Home Service Vans present and set up a very informative display.

CP ambassador Joe Jackson along with his family mingled with the participants throughout the day.   Past NYS Elks Association Presidents Charles Noonan, Dan Capella, Jamie Peace and Tim Kelley were in attendance along with State Secretary Paul Erkkinen.  Several NYS Association Chairpersons were also in attendance.

A large contigent of people from Rotterdam Lodge boarded 2 busses and traveled approximately 130 miles in one direction to support Liverpool Lodge as well as our State’s Major Project.  Lodges throughout the Ontario District and the entire area had a visable presence.  It was wonderful to see the support from members along with the public.

BPOE 2367 (Camillus, NY) Elks USA Soccer Shoot-Out Contest 2016_09

Congratulations to the U8 - U14 winners of the Camillus Elks USA Soccer Shoot-Out contest held at CNY Family Sports Center. Many thanks to Diane Daniels (Chairperson) from the Lodge and Jeff Knittel from CNYFSC. And a huge thank you to our many volunteers that made this event a success. Our winners will progress to the Ontario District Soccer Shoot on Sunday, 9/18.
