BPOE No. 2348 (Liverpool, NY) 50th Anniversary
Liverpool
Elks Lodge No. 2348 celebrated their 50th Anniversary weekend. NYS Elks Association President Bill Reedy Jr.
spent the weekend filled with history.
Charter Inner Guard Charles Vaccaro, PER and Charter 5 Year Trustee Gerald
Foster assisted Exalter Ruler Julie Keenan and State President Reedy Jr. in the
dedication of a stone to be placed in the Lodges Flag Memorial. The stone is in memory of the Founding
Members of the lodge.
In
April of 1966 a petition for a Charter was forwarded to the Grand Lodge along
with a list of officers who were to become the Charter Officers.
Liverpool
Lodge No. 2348 was granted a dispensation and was instituted on Sunday, June 12, 1966. Our Charter was
granted on August 29, 1966.

BPOE No. 474 (Auburn, NY) Remembrance
Fritz Allen PDD and good member JR Colella placed a potted plant at Veterans Memorial Park in remembrance of all the fallen soldiers

(Oswego, NY) Veteran Graves American Flag Placement
Oswego Elks Lodge members helped out putting American Flags, on the graves of Veterans in St Paul’s Cemetery. The crew was lead by Charlotte Sereno, ER. The lodge stepped up, when one of our VFW's folded to fill the need. It was an extremely hot day, but a number of members as well as family members took the time to remember our Veterans !

BPOE 830 (Fulton, NY) Drug Awareness Booth
Fulton Elks Lodge #830 completed their 65th May Day Celebration. A Drug Awareness booth was set up with brochures, color books and a coloring station that included posters to color with positive messages. Here are some of the messages; “Living for Me Drug Free,” “Happy with me Drug Free” and “Blooming into a Wonderful Drug Free Me.” Bags filled with the Drug brochures and bookmark, and other additional goodies with Drug Free messages were distributed during the event. Approximately 125 bags were given out.

BPOE 830 (Fulton, NY) May Day Celebration
Fulton Elks Lodge No. 830 completed their 65th May
Day Celebration. The 2016 May Day celebration was a fair to celebrate the youth
of our community. After many years the May Day celebration was brought back to
the Fulton War Memorial. A Drug Awareness booth was set up with brochures,
coloring books and a coloring station that included posters to color with positive
messages. Many community member came together to make it a success including
volunteers from the city, citizens and members of the local VFW as well as
numerous donations. A local artist
donated her time for face painting. Her designs were amazing. The event also
included rides and a group who brought parrots to interact with the community
and have pictures taken. The highlight of the festivities was the annual bike
giveaway. 16 bikes total were given away to children from Preschool to
sixth-grade. The local hospital provided certificates for free helmets to each
winner.
BPOE No. 474 (Auburn, NY) Memorial Day Parade 2016
Auburn Elks No. 474 participated in the annual Memorial Day Parade.
Approximately eight members of the lodge participated.

BPOE 271 (Oswego, NY) Memorial Ceremony
