Liverpool Donation
Liverpool Elks Lodge #2348 visits Upstate Golisano Children's Hospital each year in later winter. The members visiting take cookies, frosting and sprinkles so the kids could decorate their own cookies. They bring a gift for each child and leave gifts for those who might be coming soon. Unfortunately, this year due to Covid we were not able to visit the hospital. We were able to present a check for $350 specified to be used for the purchase of a non-medical item(s) for the kids to enjoy. This money comes from the Harry Agne Toy Fund which is supported from a 50-50- drawing held at each lodge meeting.
Liverpool Lodge Easter
Liverpool Elks Lodge #2348 recently held its annual Children’s Easter Party. Due to Covid restrictions they held a drive-up party. The Bunny met them at their vehicles, greeted them and handed them a bag of goodies. Although we all miss the games, crafts and food we typically share, at least we were able to do something for our youngster.
Liverpool Lodge Work Day
Liverpool Elks Lodge #2348 participates in the Adopt A Highway Project on County Route 370 in the town of Lysander. After a brief covid and safety meeting volunteers from the lodge participated in their annual Earth Day Clean Up by cleaning debris from several miles of the highway near the lodge. They were fortunate enough to have a beautiful day.
Camillus Elks Lodge
CNY Food Truck Alliance held a Fundraiser at the Camillus Lodge to benefit Capabilities-Coffee and Crepes. Coffee and Crepes is a non profit food trailer which will employ community members with varying abilities.
Much to our surprise the Camillus Elks Lodge was chosen to receive a generous donation for the work we do within the community. Pictured are Lodge Steward and Elk of the Year, Bob McIntyre and Exalted Ruler Jay Mason as they receive the very generous donation.
